It has been interesting to experience the feedback I have received … of course, it is feedback I have attracted
since launching this website on how to use law of attraction and the teachings of the principles touched on in THE SECRET Movie and THE SECRET Book by Rhonda Byrne.
Some of the feedback has been very supportive and folks are getting lots from what I have shared here, so far. Lots of AHA moments are happening. Lots of shifts in people’s thinking and therefore, in their feelings… are taking place. And GREAT things are happening in their lives.
And other folks think I have sort of lost it, because they thought I was a diehard Abraham-Hicks fan and should only talk about the Abraham-Hicks processes as THE ONLY WAY to become a vibrational match to what we want.
It could be very easy for me to start questioning my actions except for the fact that in many of the Hot Seat’s, Abraham is coaching people that are health practitioners and they are wanting to know answers from Abraham, on assisting themselves (and their clients) to move up the scale by way of the path of least resistance. The path of least resistance could be anything from taking a prescribed medication to holistic alternative medicine and modalities, such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
And it would also be very easy for me to question what I am doing if I had not had the pleasure of using what I am teaching here, in my own life. I have also taught it to many others that have had great success with it!
Well, I guess the time is now, to explain a bit about why I named this site, The Art of Living THE SECRET. First of all, here are the many definitions of the word “art” according to dictionary.com:
- the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.
- the class of objects subject to aesthetic criteria; works of art collectively, as paintings, sculptures, or drawings: a museum of art; an art collection.
- a field, genre, or category of art: Dance is an art.
- the fine arts collectively, often excluding architecture: art and architecture.
- any field using the skills or techniques of art: advertising art; industrial art.
- (in printed matter) illustrative or decorative material: Is there any art with the copy for this story?
- the principles or methods governing any craft or branch of learning: the art of baking; the art of selling.
- the craft or trade using these principles or methods.
- skill in conducting any human activity: a master at the art of conversation.
- a branch of learning or university study, esp. one of the fine arts or the humanities, as music, philosophy, or literature.
- arts,
a. (used with a singular verb) the humanities: a college of arts and sciences.
b. (used with a plural verb) liberal arts. - skilled workmanship, execution, or agency, as distinguished from nature.
- trickery; cunning: glib and devious art.
- studied action; artificiality in behavior.
- an artifice or artful device: the innumerable arts and wiles of politics.
- Archaic. science, learning, or scholarship.
Whew! Did you ever see so many definitions for one small 3-letter word?
And as I perused the list of options, I could very well have picked any one of them and for different reasons, as they are all so delicious! (Which one do you like?)
Since the launch of THE SECRET Movie DVD, I have observed and/or interacted with the various thousands of people that have come to the forums, where I participate.
And what I have noticed is that most folks are wanting some cookie-cutter, step-by-step process to enable themselves to move from where they are this read hot minute to where they would rather be. And as others offer up different suggestions and possibilities on that person’s circumstances, there are as many opinions, as there are folks doling them out.
And bottom line? Each one of us gets to choose. Each one of use gets to explore, experiment and decide which processes seem to work the best for us!Which processes help us feel a bit better than we did the moment before.
My intention is to share what has worked for me and the folks that I have attracted to myself, as my clients. And then, YOU get to open up your box of paints, your satchel of pencils, your clump of clay, your block of wood, your slab of marble - on and on and on, I could go with the analogies - and YOU get to learn what works for YOU in how to use law of attraction and THE SECRET in Your Life.
You are the artist of your own life. Create it the way you want.
And I, for one, can’t wait to see how your canvas looks, as you mold it to what you want it to be.
So, if you resonate with the things that have worked for me… GREAT! Feel free to try them on for size. If it is not your cup of tea… that’s okay, also.
And guess what? Now, you know… right?
Now. you know what you don’t like… which moves you one step further than you were before you knew that. So, the information here still made a difference.
Coming up: Stay tuned for the rest of the story, which will explain why the subtitle of “It’s all about letting Yourself and Everyone Else ‘ off the hook’!” in this series on how to use law of attraction and the principles of the teachings touched on in THE SECRET Movie…
[Special Note: The explanation for the subtitle is now listed below.]

Enjoy this blog? Buy me a coffee or an umbrella drink. May I suggest a venti Starbucks Frappuccino for $3.00? Or choose any amount you wish to tip.

Once again, another great article, Pat! It’s so nice to know that we can’t get it wrong. It’s so easy to constantly wonder if we are “doing it right”, which is probably half of the problem right there! I’ve raised a child, fallen in love and stayed healthy all on that theory of doing it my own way. For some reason I never quite let myself make millions with that same attitude…that is, until today! OK…gotta run and create some new rules for my own financial life! Love this site, love all the help you are sending us. Thank you!!!!!!

Kymm, you are correct! That is one of the biggest issues we have and that is the second-guessing we have going on that lowers our vibrations!
Mmmm I like thinking of me being an artist of my own life! Terrific post Pat, it’s nice to come to a blog where I am encouraged to be myself and find out what works for me!
